Bucs Quick Pitch is baseball with modified rules to keep players engaged and having fun! Three teams of 5 players will be on the field at the same time, meaning less players on the field and more development and engagement for those who are. Teams will rotate from outfield to infield and hitting, ensuring all players will get to play different positions. Every time a team comes up to hit each player will get two at bats. During a typical 90-minute game a player will get between 10-14 at bats. During outdoor games, the outfield corners will be used for additional skill development while games are going on, meaning players will get more reps and instruction.
Bucs Quick Pitch will operate at two age groups with the focus on players developing entry level skills and having fun while doing it. Prior to weekend games players will go through 30-minute skill development sessions that will focus on.
